LMS Season 2 Gameweek 4 Preview

GW4 has started and continues tonight and tomorrow and this is how it stands….

Ross Jefferies went through last night with Wolves and their 1-0 victory over Burnley!

Bradley Redford also went through last night after an injury time goal by Declan Rice!

Uffi Iseri, Sam Keene and Kash Hussain have backed Tottenham who are at home to West Ham. Ange Postecoglou hasn’t lost three successive home games with a top-flight club since August 2018 while in charge of Japanese side Yokohama F. Marinos.

Stan Curtis, Dom Rekowski, Ben Crocker, Raef Van San, Steve Wright and Paul Patel have all backed Liverpool who are away to Sheffield United. Chris Wilder will take charge of the first game of his second spell as Sheffield United manager, having replaced Paul Heckingbottom. Will The Blades be able to churn out a victory with that new manager bounce!

Allan Woodman, Sami Salem, Lindy Ridgewell and Chris Rye have all backed Fulham to beat Nottingham Forest. Fulham did the double last season against Forest, whose solitary top-flight away victory in this fixture was by 3-2 in May 1967 (D3, L6).

Shane Lewis, Clare Ashton and Jonathan Spoors have all backed Man City who are away to Villa. Unai Emery's side can equal the club record of 14 successive home league wins, set in 1903 and matched from December 1930 to October 1931, both in the top flight.

Joe Anderson has backed Bournemouth who are away to Palace. The Cherries have gone five games without a goal versus Palace in all competitions since a 5-3 Premier League defeat at Selhurst Park in May 2019.

Andrew Drinkwater has backed Newcastle who are away to Everton. The Toffees have been excellent on the road in recent times, winning five of their last six away games in all competitions (L1), but they must start to improve their home form soon.
