We are now down to the last 25 players!

GW6 is about to start shortly and at the time of writing all votes are in and this is how it stands….

Dom Rekowski, Glenn Powell, Paul Ridgewell, Emmanuel Verwaest, Wayne Rickwood, Tony Pound, Danny Jennings, Jonathan Spoors and Ross Jefferies have all backed Brighton who at home to Bournemouth. Brighton did the double over Bournemouth last season, winning 1-0 at home in February and 2-0 away in April.

Jack Wilmot, Melvyn Haydon, Greg Wilmot and Claire Ashton have all backed Brentford who are at home to Everton. Brentford are the opponents Everton have played the most top-flight away matches against without ever winning, drawing three and losing four of their seven visits.

Tom Bracey, Shane Lewis, Paul Patel and Andrew Hunter have all backed Newcastle who are away to Sheffield. Newcastle have won six of the past seven league meetings, with the exception being a 1-0 defeat on their last visit to Bramall Lane in January 2021.

Kash Hussain, Stan Curtis and Brad Redford have all backed Wolves who are away to Luton. This is the first top-flight meeting between Luton Town and Wolves since the 1983-84 campaign, when the Hatters won 4-0 at home and 2-1 away.

Ben Crocker, Allan Woodman and Trevor Wilmot have all backed Man City who are away to Forest. Manchester City are unbeaten in six league meetings since a 3-2 home defeat in the second tier in December 1997 (W4, D2).

Jon Evans has backed Liverpool who are at home to West Ham. The Hammers beat Liverpool 3-2 at the London Stadium in November 2021 but that is their only win in the past 14 league meetings (D2, L11).

Steve Parsons has backed Man United who are away to Burnley. Manchester United are unbeaten in their past seven top-flight visits to Turf Moor, winning five and drawing two.

Only 1 person exited the competition this week. That means 25 people remain going into GW6. The options are now dwindling though which could make for an interesting GW6!

GW6 is now live! The cut off for selections is 14:30 on Saturday.

Good Luck!
